I did it! (4hrs 11mins 4secs) Those last 6.2miles gruelling as ever! But the fabulous crowds that lined the streets, cheering and shouting words of encouragement , (not forgeting the jelly babies) and the thought of meeting family and friends at the finish, kept me focused and determined that I could and would run every step of the way for my wonderful Mum. It raises so many emotions, as you are running with people who are all there for their own very personal reasons and raising money for their charities. I want to thank all you special people waiting for me at the finish with hugs and kisses ( and flapjacks!) and to everyone who has so generously supported me this year and previous years with my running. The day was completed in great company with a wine or two and a fabulous curry down Brick Lane.
